Supervision

I am offering supervision to clinical psychologists, counselling psychologists and counsellors who require regular supervision in relation to their clinical caseloads. Supervision can be tailored to the specific requirements of the therapist and aims to be supportive, reflective and evidence-based. The supervision also considers business and private practice factors that may influence ways of working. 

I currently supervise therapists in an online and in-person format. This includes supervising psychologists who are seeing clients in private practice and also in NHS or public sector roles. I also provide supervision for groups of employees, who would like a reflective space to consider organisational and team dynamics. 

I hold certificates in supervisor training, update my CPD on an annual basis and have been clinically supervising others for over 20 years. Much of this experience was gained from my role as Lead Psychologist in an inpatient psychology team. My expertise is in adult and adolescent mental health, focussing particularly on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Compassion Focused Therapy. Having worked upon the post-graduate certificate in Compassion-Focussed Therapy, I can provide a theoretical, as well as a clinical perspective on this approach. 

The fees for clinical supervision are £130 per hour session.
